It’s easy to hear a founder talk about freedom, changing the world, and bringing people together and conclude that it’s all a bunch of BS. I get it.
The problem with such big statements is that they mean nothing if you don’t understand the person behind them, their motivations, or how they see the world.
I spend so much of my time thinking about a better way for people because injustice gets me riled up—all forms of it. On the other side of this insanely divided, economically broken world, I believe there is a very different world: a world where people are inspired, free, and empowered. A world where people have enough and feel “enough”. A world where everything is possible. This excites me, but it needs each and every one of us.
Someone once told me, “Don’t tell me what you believe. Just tell me your stories, and I’ll know everything I need to.”
I believe that you and WeAre8 will change how people feel about themselves and the world—at a scale that can address every big problem humanity faces. But I don’t need you to believe me right now.
Instead, I want to tell you some stories—stories about the rollercoaster of getting to this point, stories about why WeAre8 is deeply personal to all of us, and stories about why my motivation is so different.
That’s what this newsletter is about. It’s called Zoe’s Notes—a new weekly letter from me that provides an inside look at everything. For you, I will be an open book. Because people are hurting, our planet is hurting and we are running out of time. This isn’t an official WeAre8 newsletter from our comms team. This is personal—straight from me.
Each week, I will bring my unfiltered truth and share the things that are on my mind:
I’d love for you to come on this journey with me. Over time, you will see how much I will stand in your corner and fight to protect you and your true freedom. As always, I’d love to hear from you. Just jump into the conversation flow with me on WeAre8. Here’s to rocking the world together.
